About five minutes ago, I’m officially a Google+ Project trial user. Big thanks to Lakwatsera for inviting me!
Here’s my Google+ invite
Soon as I received my Google+ invite, I immediately clicked the link there but, Google won’t let me join successfully. I needed to wait a couple of hours before Google finally approved my invite. So for everyone asking, receiving a Google+ invite doesn’t mean Google will actually let you join the Google+ project right away. They’re slowly accepting invitees.
Here’s the welcome message when I clicked the Google+ invite
I was asked to enter my name and birth date and then after keying-in my details, I quickly pressed Join.
Here’s my Google+ home right after clicking join
What’s at my Google+ home? Well, so far, it has chat, photos, profiles, circles, and sparks. Sparks delivers things regarding your interests. At the top, you can see Google’s newly redesigned toolbar that shows other Google services – Gmail, Calendar, Documents, Photos, Reader, and others.
How to add friends on Google+? Here’s how
Google+ lets you add people in your circles by mentioning them on a post or status. Google+ Circles is a place where you group people in your Google+ Project.
Facebook recently confirmed they have 750 million users. Will we see that number of users in Google+? Will Google+ be a success or a flop like Google Wave? Time will tell.
Right now, however. I’m just going to explore Google+ Project and I will get back to you about my experience about this latest trend.
